The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) is an umbrella organisation of about 500 national, regional and local affiliates committed to working for the common good of society as a whole. Due to continued growth and expansion of our work MCB is looking to recruit an Executive Manager. This is a new role and the successful candidate will be an inspiring team leader to lead a talented and motivated team in a fast moving and demanding environment.

The candidate must demonstrate experience in managing people and projects, networking and maintaining relationships with a diverse community, generating funds and managing resources. The post holder requires qualities such as compassion, humility, strength of purpose, good character and above all patience. The appointee will work within a framework of policies and plans as established within MCB’s consultative mechanisms, though there will be an opportunity to contribute to policy discussions.
